Nethriss Silkburrow

THE CROOKED LANTERN · HALLOWEEN COLLECTION

Dark Arts · quiet sleep guardian

They go by Nethriss. “Silkburrow” is an ability descriptor I give them to describe their magick. It is not their surname or the name they use for themselves. Address them as Nethriss.

Nethriss resembles a tall cloak made of silver thread, with a dim pearl face behind its folds. They were once the keeper of a dream-weaver’s abandoned workshop. Polite and quietly funny, they patrol thresholds and regard a neatly made bed as excellent hospitality.

Silken wards catch intrusive spiritual residue at the edge of your resting space. Dream tending helps establish a calmer ritual for entering and leaving night journeys. Threadfinding guides attention toward overlooked things, while threshold watching holds the boundaries you set around sleep.

Offer a clean ribbon, a little pearl-colored stone, or a quiet word before bed. Set your dream invitation and closing phrase. Nethriss accepts a clean room, welcomes direct limits, and does not demand constant attention.
