Sir Jhaurek Wickgrave

THE CROOKED LANTERN · HALLOWEEN COLLECTION

Black Arts · adult masculine threshold guardian

They go by Jhaurek. “Wickgrave” is an ability descriptor I give them to describe their magick. It is not their surname or the name they use for themselves. Address them as Jhaurek.

Sir Calder once kept the lanterns along an ancient toll road. Now his pumpkin head burns behind an iron half-mask, above an oxblood riding coat and polished boots. Grave, courteous, and sharply humorous, he knows every road has a price and every traveller deserves a way home.

Road wards guard astral passage and the edges of your home. Lantern truthwork illuminates an avoided choice. Threshold magick supports transitions, endings, and new beginnings; ember resolve lends a firm current to boundaries and self-possession.

Offer a little brass key, an autumn letter, or a walk taken with intention. Invite him to a specific threshold and agree the scope of his watch. His companionship can be platonic or romantic by mutual choice.
