Garran — Hellhound–Griffin Direct Binding

Garran is a Hellhound–Griffin hybrid created by two powerful guardian lineages: the road, graveyard, and threshold instincts of the hellhound, and the vigilance, aerial reach, and treasure-guarding nature of the griffin. He appears as a massive black leonine hound with obsidian eagle wings, a naturally blended beaklike muzzle, and ember-amber eyes.

TEMPERAMENT

Garran is grounded, intensely loyal, practical, and reserved with strangers. He is not needlessly hostile and does not spend his energy posturing. Once bonded, he remains close during travel, watches unfamiliar people carefully, and places himself between his keeper and whatever he considers threatening.
