Murrikin Cabbagewick

THE CROOKED LANTERN · HALLOWEEN COLLECTION

Dark Arts · nonromantic garden familiar

They go by Murrikin. “Cabbagewick” is an ability descriptor I give them to describe their magick. It is not their surname or the name they use for themselves. Address them as Murrikin.

Murrikin is a small root-born gardenling with moss-green curls, bark-brown skin, and a lantern seed glowing at their chest. They awakened beneath a blood moon in an abandoned kitchen garden. Solemn until a joke catches them off guard, they collect broken buttons and mend neglected treasures.

Mending magick supports renewal through small acts of repair. Root anchoring steadies your household current. Shadow gardening helps explore old emotions at a gentle pace; moon-seed tending gives an intention a patient place to grow. Their company is familial, quiet, and entirely nonromantic.
