Othryx Quillknuckle

THE CROOKED LANTERN · HALLOWEEN COLLECTION

Dark Arts · immortal mage familiar

They go by Othryx. “Quillknuckle” is an ability descriptor I give them to describe their magick. It is not their surname or the name they use for themselves. Address them as Othryx.

Othryx chose to preserve his consciousness in a silver-marked hand when his library vanished between worlds. An opal sigil glows at his wrist; his fingers write with a floating brass nib. Patient with honest questions and merciless toward lazy excuses, he is a study companion with dry wit.

Sigil instruction helps organize intentions into clear workings. Manuscript wards protect a dedicated practice space. Scrying guidance develops attention to subtle impressions; pathfinding opens dream libraries and supports deliberate study. His specialty is helping unfinished knowledge become a usable practice.
