The Thirteenth Place Setting

THE WITCH'S VESSEL · HALLOWEEN COLLECTION

Set a place for someone the empty room has been expecting.

Twelve chairs sit untouched beneath a chandelier that sways without wind. At the thirteenth place, a raven-folded napkin slowly opens its wings. The silverware turns toward the door. A name appears in the condensation on the glass, and somewhere under the table a footstep stops.

A Halloween astral banquet offering prepared for one existing companion. One personal place setting is arranged in a haunted dining-hall scene, with black porcelain, silver cutlery, a chosen drink and three small courses suited to the companion’s tastes.
