Jozzle Reedstitch

THE CROOKED LANTERN · HALLOWEEN COLLECTION

Light–Grey Arts · nonromantic rustic companion

They go by Jozzle. “Reedstitch” is an ability descriptor I give them to describe their magick. It is not their surname or the name they use for themselves. Address them as Jozzle.

Jozzle is a reed-thin undead ferryman with mossy boots, a straw hat, and a grin he cannot keep solemn for long. A river enchantment brought him back when his unfinished songs refused to fade. His patched coat rattles with little bells, and he calls every firefly by a different name.

Reedstitch mending strengthens the welcoming current of a home. River guidance opens gentle dream journeys through lantern-lit marshes. Song magick lifts the mood of shared ritual; simple grounding keeps a working connected to everyday care and small joys.

Offer a folk song, a length of clean string, or a story from your day. Invite him to quiet company and leave room for humor. Jozzle is a friend rather than a romantic offering.
